    DEVICE REQUESTS

    • To obtain a device: device.lausd.net (Access Code: lausd2020)

    • Hotspots are for homes with NO INTERNET ACCESS.

      • Hotspots do not speed up your existing internet.  Your home's current WIFI and the HOTSPOT will cause cause confusion as the devices may switch automatically between the two.

      • Home WiFi is typically more stable as the hotspots use cellular signal which depending on the area can get spotty as it ebbs and flows with usage.

    • Students must activate their LAUSD email accounts to access LAUSD devices - your child’s teacher will provide information
